We are asking children to create a miniature book for our library in school. The above link will take you to a YouTube video with famous illustrator of the Gruffalo, Alex Scheffler.

In the video, he explains how you can make miniature books and gives ideas to create your own miniature books.

British Library Miniature Book examples

There will be prizes available and all miniature books will be put on display in the library to be shared with each other.

 

If possible, please find time in class for children to create their miniature books. They can be about absolutely anything!

 

We will aim to collect the miniature books by the last week of half term.
