(Parents/Carers, Teachers and Friends Association)
Our PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) is a charitable organisation of people working together for the benefit of all the children at Seven Stars School.
The PTFA raises money through various events such as Easter Bingo, Summer and Christmas Fayres/Shop and these are brilliantly attended by so many of our families who are extremely generous with their time and money.
The money raised has been used to pay for theatre shows, pantomimes, visitors, equipment for the playground and supported educational visits by paying for coaches among many other things.
Over the coming year the PTFA are focusing their efforts to raise money for:
- Equipment for our outdoor learning curriculum including our new ‘OPAL’ playtimes which we believe will benefit the social and physical development of our children
- A new CD/music system for the school hall
- Other items that will help with our children’s ongoing adventures in learning
- Continuing support for such things as the cost of the coach for our Residential visit for Year 6 children in September and items for our Reception new starters
