We have an excellent catering team here at Seven Stars, who are not only great cooks but also full of fun and creative ideas for regular theme days and competitions. Please see the pictures below! School meals are currently £2.35 per day.
Presently all children from Reception to Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal as part of the government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals Policy. If your child is school age (including those who receive a free infant meal anyway) and you are on a low income or entitled to certain benefits please make sure you apply for free school meals as this may also give school access to further funding (known as Pupil Premium) in order to enhance your child’s education. You can apply for free school meals by calling (01772) 531 809 but the easiest way is to apply online at https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/children-education-families/schools/free-school-meals/
Children may also bring a packed lunch if they wish – we have produced some guidelines surrounding healthier packed lunches which you can download below.
